Uranus is the Eighth planet from the sun and is the furthest planet away from the Sun in our solar system. It ranks in at number four on the largest planet size list. Dark, cold and wrapped in supersonic winds and is so far from Earth it is not visible with the naked eye. Neptune has 6 rings although they are very hard to see.

History

Uranus is believed to be around 4,503 Billion years old and was first discovered 1846 by Johann Gottfried Galle using calculations from Urbain Le Verrier and John Couch Adams, in 2011 Neptune made its first complete orbit of the sun since it was first discovered.
